SPL Sunday February 12th Rangers 0 Celtic
1 0:1 Zurawski 12 Att: 49,778 MIB: Mike McCurry Celtic: What a joy. The worst mob of mangy journeymen in Rangers history were panned on their own midden in front of the deluded mob of foul mouthed sectarian rabble that pass as their fans. This was akin to having the delight of telling Eck that he can have his job back at We Are the People FC. One of the most unimpressive Celtic sides in recent years still outplayed the Orcs, without leaving second gear. It only took a few minutes before the vets were being called for, as Zurawski waltzed between The Right Rev. Starvin Marvin and the Greek Geek, to slot one past What R US. Even some comical defending by the Sieve on the day didn't seem to faze the traveling support, who were only too glad to wish a Happy 21 points clear of the Crap in the Hats litter tray XI. The Orcs' prowess in front of goal was as potent as Boy George in the Chicken Ranch. If they managed to get past Boruc (and they did) they only got in each others way in a panic. Oh how we laughed. Eck has won a grand total of 4 out of 25 league games against Celtic. I wish we could have this every week. With Keano and Lennon totally bossing the mid field, we could sit back and watch the comic cuts (no misspelling intended there). Happiness is watching the Death Star empty on an afternoon like this! |
