Dundee United's manager Ian McCall has had so many rants at referees already this season that if you hadn't heard his incredible pro-hun commentaries during Rangers games you'd swear he must be a prime candidate to join us in the paranoia ward.

Today he was venting his spleen in the direction of that well-known Celtic sympathiser Pooh Dallas, claiming that 'Scotland's Top Whistler' should have given the home team no fewer than three penalties. He's maybe right, but the way his team were defending a couple of goals might have helped focus the Hoops on scoring even more at the other end. Juninho's miss, in particular, is bound to feature in one of those cock-up videos in the near future. It really could have been six or seven in the first half hour.

As it was we scored three and had the game in the bag by half-time. After Wednesday's exertions the feet were up after the interval safe in the knowledge that a routine three points were safely in the bag.
