Henrik guarantees himself a grand send off. With the league in the bag and the UEFA dream still there, we now have the Scottish Cup final to mark in as well.

Livi put up a bit of a fight and if Marshall hadn't been on his toes it could have been a bit tricky. Thompson did himself in early on, was replaced by the WJ and I, for one, certainly don't want him anywhere near the final. There are many players at Celtic Park who are quite content to play for us. Let one of them take a winner's medal home. He doesn't deserve it. (Ditto for the league, by the way, don't want Man United players lifting our trophy!)

With Spain coming up midweek the players could be forgiven for appearing somewhat distracted, but once the scoring got under way this had a definite training ground feel to it. Sutton did most of the damage, getting on the end of our best first half move to give us the lead, then taking Henrik's pass with the goalie nowhere, rounding Andrews and scoring. After that Larsson and Sutton were taken off and the foot was taken off the pedal, so much so that Livi got one back.

It's a funny thing, but without McNamara, Lambert, Kennedy, Thompson, Maloney, Hartson, Larsson, Sutton and with Valgaeren and Mjallby only half fit we looked kind of ordinary.
