A triple whammy day. Not only do our hooped heroes return to top form, we get the extra bonuses of doing it at Kilmarnock's expense, and noising up the ever grimacing Jim Jeffries in the process. Marvellous.

For the first time in a long time Sutton was in a goal scoring mood, and despite Larsson getting three Sutton still bagged the pick of the bunch - a sweet free flowing move that finished with an inch perfect pass from Larsson into the path of the Englishman, who didn't even have to break stride as he rounded a defender and slotted the ball in. Lovely.

Of course it should be said that we were helped out by some insane/suicidal (insert choice of adjective) defending by our squirrel-badged visitors. If there is one man you keep a close watch over it is Larsson, but there he was in splendid isolation to score the first. Defending not guaranteed to bring a smile to Jeffries' face.

Larsson rounded off the half with his second (our third) a simple header from a rebound off the bar.

The second half was more of the same, Larsson nipping in to set up Sutton again, and Shaun Maloney running into the box inviting the Kilmarnock defence to chop his ankles out from under him. Not the kind of players to pass up such an invitation, they duly obliged and Larsson got his hat-trick.

Bring on the huns.
