Back to earth with a resounding clatter. MON rested all but three of the Anfield heroes. The players he brought in huffed and puffed but couldn't find the net against a side coming off the back of a 4:1 doing from Clyde.

True, the Caley 'keeper had the kind of night you usually only read about in football comics, but the Celtic team was comprised of eleven highly paid players and they were a pathetic sight to behold. Credit to Caley. Taxis hopefully revving up for the summer.
