Fresh from skelping FC Suduva, Celtic moved on to another European backwater. This time it was Dundee, where renegade Hispanic and Latin desperados ply their ugly trade under the shadow of Tayside's New Millenium Dome, aka Jim Duffy's baldy napper.

Always a good away day for the travelling support, the troops were cock a hoop when Larsson delivered the goal of the season after 18 minutes, wrong footing the Dens defence and chipping Speroni from the edge of the box. It was a goal that announced the return of the Magnificent 7.

Celtic should have gone on and won this match comfortably and certainly made enough chances to do so. Petrov, Larsson and Sylla all came close to extending the lead. Stan should be shot for missing an open goal.

Duffy has reorganised Dundee into a more coherent unit and they did battle well, especially in the closing 20 minutes, which saw Hartson replace Sutton. Big John was unlucky not to win a penalty and put a shot just wide of the post, while Stan went on to hit the bar. At the back, however, Celtic were ropey. Bobo andValgaeren held the fort manfully as Rab D decided to go for a flap that almost gifted the home side an equalizer. Poor finishing by Caballereo saved the day. With Unle Eck and the Ugly Mob on the horizon it's no time for Rab to be playing silly buggers.

Anyway, three more points to the good and Killie up next at home.
