Dear NTV, Just writing to make a few points. Firstly to express my delight with the team's performances in recent months but also to state that I am not entirely pleased with WGS's team selection. I feel if pressurised by a quality European side our defence would tear away at the seams. Telfer and Camara are patently not Celtic class despite slight improvement by both. Celtic fans jokingly sang for 'Super Mo' when three up away to Falkirk but I am afraid that this humour would speedily turn sour if his mistakes cost us another Champions league spot. Telfer really struggled to cope with Lovenkrands' pace in the Rangers league match, relying instead on 'auld heid' robust defending. His crossing makes Didier Agathe seem like David Beckham. We should constantly strive for a starting eleven of top notch footballers and not journeymen and whippets from the depths of the English Championship. Continuing the negativity slightly. I think that Lennon should quit Celtic at the end of 2006 and we should not renew his contract. He has been a legendary servant but all good things must come to an end. This would free up money towards somebody like Roy Keane's wages. A cold fact is that at his peak Lennon was worth a cool £6 million. However, Keane was worth three times this. The grim reality is that Keane is a far superior player to Lennon and would add steel for our Champions League campaign! Keane's signing would also help rebuild our European reputation after the humiliation in Bratislava. Without doubt we should improve the squad when on top. We should be in the business of signing quality footballers no matter the 'baggage.' Positive points include the resurgence of young Aiden McGeady, a sublime talent who will only improve if WGS gives him the same opportunities (run in the team) he has given Sean Maloney. I have been amazed at the improvement with Sean after writing him off as finished last season. I also believe that Nakamura and Zurawski are beginning to display their immeasurable talents after initially displaying major stage fright. Finally I take great delight in ridiculing Keith Jacksie of the Daily Rearend. Prior to Rangers Champions League group in a Record article he declared 'Artmedia Bratislava will be the whipping boys of the group.' Obviously the Gers didn`t bring a whip with them. Our Keith also gave Nakamura 5 stars out of ten and McGeady a similar mark for the league cup tie against Rangers despite the duo tearing the dismal Gers to shreds over both games. I wonder how Wacko Jacko feels now? That plus Chick Young`s coupon on the telly during the 3-0 annihilation... how I laughed. A very happy new year to NTV readers BUFFER
by e-mail mentally scarred for life Hello, I sent a huge Celtic comic strip to NTV when I was 13 and you printed the Paul McStay character in one of your Xmas editions much to my delight (13 years ago). Still a big fan but always wondered what happened to that comic strip. Was that the only decent picture or were my gags shite? Hail Hail,
boat called dignity Dear NTV Here's me in the Hoops helping some victims of last year's tsunami. The location is Tamil Nadu in southern India and I was delivering one of the thirty fishing boats my organisation donated to the fishermen from that area who had lost everything because of the seaquake. I thought about calling this boat Celtic Heart. The Rangers equivalent we called 'Dignity'. It sprung a leak and sank. HAIL HAIL

Charlie and the Bhoys in Dubai Dear NTV,
On Tuesday the 8th November Charlie and the Bhoys headed to Dubai to play two gigs for the Dubai Hoops. The band was accompanied by actor Tony Roper and Celtic great Frank McAvennie (above). The trip was organised by Dubai Hoops president Martin McGinty many months ago and to be drawn against Rangers was a bonus, to beat them made the trip all that more special. It was a laugh from start to Finish, all the Dubai Hoops members where there and watching the Rangers game with Tony and Frank made it a magic memory for everyone in Dubai. Macca was jumping out his seat kicking every ball while Tony was his reserved self smoking his cigar till Maloney's goal then we saw the real Tony Roper. The trip was finished off with Charlie and the Bhoys live in The Dubliners pub on the Friday afternoon, and the place was rocking to all the old and new Celtic songs. Quick plug: Charlie and the Bhoys have a new DVD out, (Live at the Glasgow Barrowlands) and it's a must for all Celtic fans. It has the Barrowlands Concert plus, Celtic TV footage of the band and extra video tracks to make up almost 2 hours of music. It can be got on the bands web site. www.charlieandthebhoys.com Hail
Hail Message from the Dubai Hoops. A big thanks from the Dubai Hoops CSC to Frank McAvennie, Tony Roper and Charlie and the Bhoys for just being yourselves on your recent visit to Dubliners, home of the Dubai Hoops CSC. in joke Dear NTV, While I enjoyed both of our recent victories against the Huns, I hardly think that these two wins against the worst Rangers team ever hardly constitute the kind of legendary performances that should be immortalised on DVD or video (Remember Remember Our Two Wins in November). Then I read from one of the eejits responsible in the Celtic View that it was supposed to be a joke. They were charging a tenner for it in the superstore after the Dunfermline game. Taking the piss more like. Those responsible should be birched forthwith. A
