Today’s Daily Retard employed the time honoured tactic of discrediting the incompetent foreign referee before a Rangers European tie. Two pages devoted to how crap he is. These foreign refs could learn a thing or two from Dougal and McCurry.

Elsewhere, The Sun - Gordon Smith in campaign to root out “simulation”. No names mentioned or anything. Not even a nudge or a wink. This back page headline is suitably accompanied by a large photo of Kevin Thomson.

Only kidding of course... April fool!

No this would never do. Instead the Sun choosing to rake up the controversy over the Hearts boy Mikolaunis and attach his picture to the piece accompanied by the caption with words to the effect “players like Mikolaunis will have to watch out”

i.e. translation of laptop loyal speak = McGeady, Nakamura etc.

Good to see the media sticking with the “guilty till proven innocent except if you’re a Ger” philosophy so ably applied to the recent “UEFA probe”.
